The Vietnam War

Introduction
The
Vietnam War was the
longest military engagement in the history of the United States.
The war lasted about 15 years and cost the lives of about 58,000 US
servicemen and women. Additionally, the war cost the US taxpayer
approximately 170 billion dollars.
In this WebQuest, you and your group will research a topic dealing with the Vietnam War and explore how that topic ultimately led to the possible failure of the United States in preventing the fall of South Vietnam and the lessons the United States learned form its' experiences in Vietnam. We will build upon the knowledge you have gained during our two week course on Vietnam. Each group will be assigned a different role to play.
