Dr. Mark Larson is Coordinator of the Early Childhood Education and the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) programs and he is an Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Dr. Larson' s educational background includes:
Dr. Larson's teaching and research are framed by applied behavior analysis, developmentally appropriate practices, and participatory, single-case research. In particular his interests are: (a) systematic assessment and instruction for children with developmental delays or disabilities within natural environments, (b) language and social communication interventions for children, youth, and adults with ASD, and (c) Parent-professional partnerships in the design of educational interventions for their children.
