Example of a Verification E-mail from an Organization

Below you see an excellent example of a verification e-mail (it could have been a letter) from an organization.  Please notice it has not only glowing comments about the student, but it states-

While this is not very long it is very complete and does the job.  (This is an actual one from a former student with the names changed to protect the excellent.)

Dr. Bob Pettapiece;

I am writing in regards to your student, Ms. Masters.  My name is Mary Smith.  I am a Major Gifts Officer for the Special Events division of XYZ Organization.  XYZ Organization is a non-profit organization.  The Special Events division coordinates and organizes fundraisers to benefit various departments within the organization.  Proceeds from fundraisers benefit Metro Detroit area children.

Ms. Masters has assisted our staff with various fundraising events.  Her responsibilities have included assisting with interdepartmental work:  stuffing envelopes, organizing gift packages and addressing labels.  In addition, she has accompanied myself at events in which she has helped with staffing events where she assisted with auctions, raffles, registration, greeting guests and attending banquet dinners.

It has been a great pleasure to work with Ms. Masters.  Not only has she surpassed her 50 hour volunteer requirement, I have noticed that she truly enjoys her work.  She makes it easy to help the children.  Our organization depends on individuals such as Ms. Masters, who give not only their time and assistance. . .  but also their heart.

Should you have any questions I would be more than happy to assist you.  You may contact me at any of the information sources listed below.  Thank you.
