Discovering Mount Clemens

As a citizen of the great City of Mount Clemens, you have been given a quest. This quest is to educate yourself about your fine city, and to take this knowledge and spread it to others. While you know Mount Clemens as it is today, it has a long and rich history that you have yet to discover.

In this WebQuest, you will follow the links on the bottom of each page. They will take you, step by step, through Mount Clemens’ history. On each page, you will be given a number of tasks. These tasks will enlighten you to different aspects of Mount Clemens past. Complete each task, travel through each of the pages, and complete the quest.

For this quest, work in groups of 3. Each group should have someone as the Researcher (the one who looks up the information), the Recorder (the one who takes photos and writes down information in a way that’s easy to understand), and the Reporter (the one who reports and teaches the new information to others). Use your new information to ‘WOW’ your parents, or impress your principal!

When you have finished, make sure you take your newfound knowledge and pass it on to a fellow citizen… this is how you will take your knowledge and apply it in a real world setting. Don’t worry, you’ll be given ideas at the end of the quest.
